A copper-alloy uniface coin weight. The weight is sub-square in plan. The upper surface bears a stamped fleur-de-lis within a circular border. The surfaces are slightly corroded. It measures 14.5mm long, 13.5mm wide and 2.5mm thick. It weighs 2.59g. According to Withers (1995: 33), such weights are French or British and were made from the florin coin, which circulated in Europe between c. 1350 and 1550.
