A slightly incomplete struck/ hammered silver halfgroat or penny of Elizabeth I, minted in London between AD 1591/2-94 [probably] (diameter: 13mm; thickness: 0.5mm; weight: 0.43g). Initial mark: tun [probably]. The coin is in a worn and poor condition. Ref: North, J, J, 1991, ‘English Hammered Coinage Volume 2: Edward I to Charles II 1272-1662’, page 137, ref no 2016.
