The token is decorated on one side only with a slightly mis-shapen cross in a circle with a pellet in each quarter. The artefact is in a worn but fair condition. The token is decorated on one side only with probably more than eight petals/ segments, as well as some pellets in between. The artefact is in a worn but fair condition. Similar examples are illustrated in in Mitchiner & Skinner’s ‘English Tokens, c. 1425 to 1672’ in ‘The British Numismatic Journal Vol 54’, 1984, pages 140 & 163; plate 22, ref nos 47 & 48.

The token is only decorated on one side with an irregular eight-pointed star within a surrounding raised border that runs around the outside edge of the artefact. The token is slightly worn but fair condition. A similar example is illustrated in Mitchiner & Skinner’s ‘English Tokens, c. 1425 to 1672’ in ‘The British Numismatic Journal Vol 54’, 1984, pages 128 & 158, ref no 99, and is described as a token of a innholder.

The token is only decorated on one side with a pellet or crescent surrounded by an inner and larger outer circle. There is also a raised border around the outside edge. The token is in a worn and poor condition with breakages at two main areas along the outside edge. A similar example is illustrated in Mitchiner & Skinner’s ‘English Tokens, c. 1425 to 1672’ in ‘The British Numismatic Journal Vol 54’, 1984, pages 125 & 157, ref no 38.
