A Post Medieval copper alloy coin: a struck coin (probably a paisa) of the Indian Princely State of Baroda. It features the 'scimitar' or curved sword used on much of the later coinage of Baroda. Critically, above the scimitar, is the Nagari script for 'kha ga' which occurs on the coins of Khande Rao who ruled Baroda AD 1856-1870. For a better preserved example see

A Post Medieval copper alloy medallion; an early 16th century German medal of Otto Henry, Count of the Rhineland Palatinate and Duke of Bavaria (1502-1559). Obv: OTTO HEN CO PA RHE DVX BAIO Z C NA AN XXVI around bust of Otto. Rev: DOMI EST QVOD BO EST IN OCV SVIS FACIAT MDXXVIII around the arms of the Palatinate surmounted by two helms. The medal was made in 1528.

An incomplete silver coin, possibly Post Medieval, of uncertain mint and ruler. It is possibly a half groat. Obverse is worn, both field and most of legend. Beaded inner circle visible. Legible legend reads ET...H...IVI. Reverse has shield on cross fourchee dividing legend. Two of the four quadrants visible containing lions (upper right) and fleur de lis (lower right). Beaded inner circle. Reverse legend reads ...L...N... Very worn, with an old jagged break along edge. Coin is slightly bent inwards on the obverse side. It is 16.33 mm DIA x 0.67 mm TH and weighs 0.62 g.

A copper alloy square coin weight of James I, equal to a unite (20 shillings). Obverse: laurelled(?) bust, facing left, within a circular pellet border. Reverse: crown at top, XX in centre, S at bottom, all within a circular pellet border. This is a coin weigh for a unite, which was worth 1 pound of gold. First produced in 1604, this initially had a value of 20 shillings (until 1612 when the price of gold rose, making it equal to 22 shillings). Each face is 18mm square.
