A copper alloy trade token, possibly from a local company.
The obverse is worn and pitted, but two indistinct scrolled letters can just be seen, they are back to back and inside a wreath border. A crude stamp reading [1]674 can still be seen at the 3 O’ clock position.
The reverse is also worn and pitted and the design is also indistinct, it could be an eagle or griffin with out-stretched wings. A worn raised border, with some lettering on it is visible, but the letters are illegible. A capital letter E can be seen in the 8 O’ clock position.

The figure has a reddish-brown colouring. The obverse is equally worn but the letters A E // HTA // 1749 can be seen. The token, which is 25.4mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick, is a brownish-green colour.
