Tin and copper alloy coin. Probably a plugged tin farthing of Charless II (1685-1688), very worn and abraded; issue of 1684. At first sight, no discernible detail remained on either side of a battered flan, save for the plug itself. Silver coin. A possibly milled and very worn coin, with marks suggesting it has formerly been folded as a keepsake. The mass - with due allowance for heavy wear - does not make it seem likely this was a sixpence, the most commonly folded coin, but perhaps a smaller denomination. A copper alloy illegible coin which has been pierced. The very circular shape suggests a post-medieval date, though the dating remains uncertain as no trace of images or legends remains owing to corrosion. Since it was found at a newly discovered Anglo-Saxon cemetery site, an Early Medieval date cannot be ruled out. It has a dark green patina. It is 20mm in diameter and 1.1mm thick. It weighs 1.92gm.
