Copper alloy jetton or reckoning counter of the 14th/15th century, probably French. It bears a P, which might be connected to one of the 14th c. French kings called Philip. The counter has an initial on each side (probably personal initials). On one side there is a 'P' and on the other an 'I'. Each letter is within a sexfoil; the I is surrounded by 4 small fleur de lis and decorative pellets and the R is also surrounded by 4 Fleur de lis.
