Copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (master 1586 d. 1635). The obverse of the jetton shows three crowns with three lis between, and a rose in the centre. The obverse inscription is: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse shows an orb in a three-arched tressure with angles at each joint. The reverse inscription is probably GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, meaning 'God's kingdom (realm) remains eternal'. This matches Mitchner 1540.

A copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of 'Rose and orb' type. On one side, a 5-petalled rose is surrounded by 3 alternating crowns and fleur-de-lis. On the other, the jetton features a 'normal' sized orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a tressure made up of a trefoil and triangle. The tressure lies within a circle, and no ornaments lie between them. The token appears to have been clipped, so that much of the inscription is now missing. Thus, it cannot be said whether it is literate or fictitious. Jettons were (usually brass) coin-like objects used in accounting between the 13…

Copper alloy 'four lis in a lozenge' type jetton. This example is the second generation of this type of jetton (the first generation is slightly more medieval in character and the legend reads something that makes sense, like 'VIVE LE ROI'). However this example dates 1500-1520 and the legends are entirely nonsensical with lettering that is more 'Roman' and less gothic. The place of production is Tournai. The Jetton is bent at a right angle and measures 27.1mmin diameter, 0.88mm in thickness and weighs 2.47g.
