The object has a single circular perforation at 12 O'clock Touch Pieces were touched by the monarch and used by an individual (in this instance as a pendant or medallion) to pass the heeling of an individual via the touch of a monarch without the monarch coming into physical contact with the afflicted individual. There are several reasons to consider this a modern rather than contemporary forgery, probably dating from the Victorian period onwards. A Post Medieval silver coin, probably of Elizabeth I and dating from c. AD 1550 - 1625. The coin is bent across the centre and is very worn. There appears to be a long cross and heater shield on the reverse.

An extremely worn and corroded copper alloy coin which is almost illegible but which may be a Dutch coin of the 16th or 17th century. The coin appears to be similar to a Duit or half Duit of Zeeland and may show a maiden sitting in a fence on the reverse. None of the details are visible. Compare SWYOR-6DCD16 which is slightly better preserved. It is also possible that this object is a jetton, but it is too worn to identify. The coin or jetton has been pierced with an oval hole.
