A cast copper alloy double looped rectangular buckle frame. The pin is missing. The frame has thickened inner edges. The strap bar is narrowed and slightly offset. The metal surface is worn with a light greyish green patina. A similar lead alloy example is illustrated in Egan 2005, p38 ref 121. The buckle is post medieval in date.

Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle fragment, 22mm wide and 32mm long. The object is in fair condition and weighs 4.59 grams. It represents just over half of a buckle and has rectangular sectioned 'loops' which are decorated with a scallop shaped motif which forms the pin rest and the terminals of the integral pin bar. Similar to 397 in Whiteheads Buckles.

A cast copper-alloy double loop buckle. The sub-oval frame has bifid sides and rounded ends. One end has a notched lip for the missing pin. The strap bar is narrowed. The length is 34.0mm, the width is 29.4mm and the weight is 5.61g.

A cast copper-alloy double loop sub-rectangular buckle. The buckle has rounded ends and slighly concave sides. The surface is quite worn, but once has moulded decoration. The strap bar is narrowed. The pin is missing. The length is 36.5, th width is 20.7mm and the weight is 4.03g.
