A cast lead token, flat and circular in shape, with slightly chamfered edges. The front surface is decorated with a raised ring and dot in the centre. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is a mid greyish-brown colour. These tokens were mass-produced and were so easy to make that they were used through-out the medieval to post-medieval period. This example is likely to date from 1500-1850.
