A folded copper-alloy flat disk, probably a coin, of likely post-medieval date, c. AD 1500-1800. The object has been folded over twice into a quarter. The visible surfaces are very worn and any inscription which potentially would be present has been obscured. The object has a green patina and is worn and abraided. It is 17.88mm in length, 16.84mm in width, 3.92mm in thickness and weighs 3.19g.

An incomplete, distorted, pierced and worn coin of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1489 - 1660. The coin is extremely worn rendering most diagnostic detail illegible. Traces of a border with text can be determined suggestive of a Post-Medieval date. The coin is 18.6mm in diameter and weighs 1g which is approximately consistent with the dimensions for the threepence issued under Elizabeth I. A cast copper alloy unifaced, round coin weight of a type not seen in the normal literature. The obverse depicts two rows of three fleur de lys, above and below PIS (the S is backwards). Pistol or pistole coin weight are normally attributed to the French Kings, possibly Louis XIV.

A copper alloy jetton of post-medieval date which has been converted into a brooch. The obverse of the jetton has a voided cross fourchee with stars and crescents in alternating quarters. The legend is an alternating design of floral patterns and fleur de lis. The reverse of the jetton is illegible but has a copper allloy plate soldered onto it. The terminal of the plate has a lug at one end and is bent at the other. There is a rivet in the centre. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is very worn.

Treasure case : 2005 T386 This hoard consists of 37 coins and fragments. All are silver and official issues of the kings of England and (in one case) Scotland and thus have a fineness of the sterling standard: 92.5% fine metal. The find consists of one half-crown, 20 shillings, 15 sixpences and a 20-pence Scots (a detailed list is attached). The coins had a value of slightly over 30 shillings in the mid 17th century, a sum equivalent to around a few hundred pounds in modern terms.
