A worn silver coin of uncertain denomination probably of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1485 - 1660. The coin is worn smooth on both faces though is stamped on one side with the initials PC topped by a left facing fish. Probably reused as a love token.

A cast copper alloy coin weight dating to the medieval period. The weight is square with a flat base. The obverse of the weight depicts the Middelburg coat of arms (a swimming lion) on a shield within a wreath. At the top of the shield is 8 X 7, the numbers representing the year 1587 and the X might possibly represent the denomination. To the left of the shield is M, the first initial of the maker’s name.
