Any detail on the coin has been worn off or deliberately removed, meaning it is hard to identify with any degree of certainty. It is likely, based on its size, to be either a groat from the reign of Elizabeth I to Charles I. An incompete and completely worn post medieval silver coin. Judging by the size it is most likely a halfgroat of either Mary (1553-1558) or Elizabeth I (1558-1603). The edges of the coin are rough and broken and both faces have been completely worn. One face presents FF stamped near the centre.
