An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 750 - 950. The strap end is of Thomas' Class A, Type 2 with patterned decoration.
The strap end is broadly triangular with a pointed terminal at the closed end and an incomplete attachment at the other. Three fragments of a gilded copper-alloy brooch, probably of Great Square Headed type, of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 525-570.
The brooch consists of a fragment including the bow and incomplete footplate, a fragment of the head and a fragment of an unclear part of the brooch.
The fragment including the bow and footplate is rectangular in plan with a C-shaped arch in profile. There is a raised flat ridge at each edge of the bow. An incomplete copper-alloy dragonesque brooch of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 175. The brooch is curvilinear in form resulting in a roughly S-shaped piece though both terminals have been lost to an old, worn breaks.
The upper surface is decorated with a central transverse rectangular panel featuring a cross hatched design with three interlinked rows of recessed lozenge shaped cells. Blue enamel is retained within the two rows which flank the central one.

An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 175. The head of the brooch is ovate with a sub-triangular section and flat reverse which retains a double lug hinge mechanism. The pin no longer remains.
An ovate sectioned bow extends from the centre of the front of the head terminating in a worn break. The head is decorated with trumpet coil designs flanking the raised central ridge. The coils retain blue enamel.
The metal has a dark green/brown delaminated patina and is worn. The brooch is 16.3mm long, 15.9mm wide, 13mm thick and weighs 5.8g.

Copper-alloy decorative foot fragment from an early medieval Cruciform brooch (c. 450 - 650 AD). The fragment consists of a tri-lobed flat plate of copper-alloy which thickens slightly at the top where it would have joined the bow of the brooch. Symmetrical in aspect, the lower lobe is fan-shaped, flanked above at either side by two almost circular lobes which are demarcated from the central fan-shaped lobe by curvilinear grooves. Small copper-alloy flat circular disk with a central aperture, date unknown. The back of this object is completely smooth while the front exhibits a decorative circular indent running around the central hole. The edges of the object are uneven. The object has a dark brown patina. There is unfortunately nothing suggestive of a date or identification of this object. The central aperture probably served as a method of attachment. The dimensions of the object are: 10.34mm in maximum length, 9.98mm in maximum width and 1.71mm in thickness. The weight of the object is 8.54g.

Copper-alloy head of a linch pin, probably Iron Age (c. 800 BC - 42 AD). The linch pin is damaged and consists of a small flat round head with milled edges on a narrow neck which widens abruptly into a wider shaft headed by a wide ridge. Half of this shaft has been unevenly broken off, revealing an iron pin running vertically through the centre of the shaft. An in complete copper alloy strap mount of Post-medieval date (AD 1650-1800). The object is leaf or heart shaped in profile with an integral border following the profile. Within the border is an integral curvilinear decorative pattern. The reverse is smooth and flat with no indication of decoration. The reverse also contains a single projecting spur situated along the right hand edge, there is also a small circular recess on the left hand edge which indicates a missing second spur.
The metal is dark brown in colour with a smooth and uncorroded patina.

An incomplete lead alloy toy gun of Post-medieval to Modern date (AD 1700-1900). The object is composed of two cast faces secured together via two perforating rivets located at the trigger mechanism. The trigger mechanism is partially retained and made from iron. Both faces of the handle are decorated with an integrally cast pattern composed of an interlaced curvilinear scroll design and a minor amount of crosshatching towards the trigger mechanism. The trigger and barrel are missing due to an old break.

An incomplete copper alloy horse harness pendant of late Medieval to mid-Post-medieval date (AD 1400-1700). The pendant is a convex disk with an integral upper suspension loop and possible gilding. There is some indication of decoration in the form of concentric semi-circles emanating down from the suspension loop with three line radiating outward, however much of the surface of the object is covered with corrosion thereby obscuring much of the detail of any decoration.
