A gold Iron age Stater issued by Cunobelinus (c.8-41AD). Obverse: Corn ear without central stalk, lower stalk is an L shape. 'CA to l. 'MV' to r.. Possible pellet triangle above 'CA'. Reverse: Rearing horse right with a feathered tail and mane, star and branch above, below ring and pellet, 'CVNO', pellet border.
