Rectangular form with protruding circular attachment lugs at each corner. The front surface is decorated with a crudely executed figure of a crucified human figure wearing a girdled tunic. Identified as a Scottish issue of Saint Andrew by comparison with a parallel from London (Spencer 1998, no. 265). The rectangular shape, with stitching rings, has more in common with Continental than with English badges.

Cast copper alloy strap end with a terminal in the form of a king's head, simple crown, neck-length hair, turned up at end, eyes and mount clearly defined. Body of Strap end trapezoid and box like and originally backed by a separate plate. Its face is divided into three zones each of which contains an incised chevron. At its lower end was a single rivet. Traces of tinning/silvering on face. Dated to c. 135-1400 by parallel with finds from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, 133, No. 614)

The object is a circular cast copper-alloy disc. In the centre of the disc protrudes a very well modelled two-dimensional representation of a face. At the top of the head is what appears to be curly hair, piled up. Below the position of the face's chin, the disc pushes out into a small, rounded-off point. There are no means of attachment.

The item is a cast lead bust. The bust has short hair - there is no detail. The facial features are very worn but are very similar to Afro-Caribbean features. The neck has a flared ridge. Beneath this is a circular sectioned stem from which there is a sub-square sectioned stem. There is a casting seam running from 'ear to ear'. The surface of the item is now a shiny beige colour.
