Even though this is a more modern find, it is a highly decorated pewter, or possibly silver-plated cigarette case, with a floral motif. Each outer face of the case is decorated with foliage, but on the back face, there are two centrally-located flowers, whereas on the front face, there are centrally-located engraved initials inside a shield.  Likely produced in the late 1800s, it is engraved with the words 'AC Xmas 1918', and was clearly destined as a post-WW1 Christmas present to somebody. An incomplete lead alloy (white metal) buckle frame with moulded decoration, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). Around 25% of the buckle frame is present, consisting of a curved frame, with a flat cross section. The upper, slightly concave surface is covered with moulded floral decoration. Cut steel button from the mid 18th century. Cut in the form of a flower with 7 petals (septfoil) each with a central groove; inbetween each of these petals is a V shaped "petal" with a circular indentation. The centre of the object has a ring of 7 pellets arranged around a large central pellet. The button is badly corroded and only part of the original surface finish survives. The clog clasp is sub rectangular in plan, with endented sides. The lower hook has broken. This small mount or fitting appears to be made from white metal. It is 22mm long and 18mm wide, and is cast with a front and back and a small hole for an attachment nail or rivet. A flat basal strip 18mm wide projects a central limb 7.5mm wide from which springs a circular cut-out shape with a large circular hole at the centre, 6.5mm across, with triple raidating thorns to left and right, and double thorns rising from the top. The smaller piercing is in the rising limb. This may be part of a hinge or similar fitting.
