AD 1500 - 1600. The dress hook has a rectangular loop at one end with shield shaped low-relief open work area and a sharp rearward-facing hook. The mount is in the form a pinecone or zoomorphic creature with a projecting stalk or snout. The sides of the mount are trapezoidal, narrowing to a ‘stump’ at the bottom with a raised circular top. The form of the stud appears to be an elongated acorn with a pointed triangular outer portion, below which there is a smaller, thinner acorn of similar form . A cast copper alloy foliate style sword hanger mount c. AD1500 - 1600. The mount composed of a vertically symmetrical plate, the hook at the narrowest end is missing. It has a flat underside, with a raised foliate design on the face.  The mount is conventionally riveted to the belt, in this case, the rivet holes are broken away. It is in the form of a sexfoil or six petalled flower, the centre of which is perforated by a small rivet hole.  The rivet is missing. A fragment of Roman Samian ware(AD40-400) probably the side of a bowl. The outer convex surface has a frieze of chevrons below which is a floral pattern with a stem and bud beside a circle enclosing further floral patterning. The inner concave surface has the same sheen as the outer surface in the upper third whilst the remaining two thirds have been broken away. The orange brown finish is slightly worn. The circular domed mount has a central dome shaped knop and the mount has a floral pattern outlined in gilt. It has been broken around the circumference from a larger setting.
