 Incomplete cast copper alloy one-piece hooked-clasp. The tag has a sub-rectangular plate and narrows into a cusped collar and a forward-facing hook, which has broken. the hook tag is folded in half and the upper end has broken off.  The edge of the attachment end is cusped and there is a rivet hole on the unbroken end of the plate.  c. 16th century.

Cast copper alloy one-piece hooked-clasp with moulded relief. The tag has a sub-rectangular plate and narrows into a cusped collar and a forwaerd-facing hook, which has broken. The edge of teh attachment end is cusped and there are rivet holes either end of the plate. The plate is decorated with a fleur de lis and plant tendrils. c. 16th century.

A fragment of a Medieval casted copper-alloy strap end. Sub-rectangular with tapered terminal. Decorated with a floral design with a niello overlay which can be seen with the brownish corrosion on the face.  On the reverse there is no decoration. There is evidence of corrosion which may be due to the item being near an iron item however it may be evidence of decomposing organic material, leather, wood etc. There is no evidence of niello on the back. An incomplete gilt post-medieval copper-alloy belt loop / slide (c. 1750-1900AD). The strap fitting is sub rectangular in plan, and a flattened 'U' shape in profile. The top is rectangular, with rounded corners. Remnants of an iron pin or rivet are present in the centre of each projecting side. This belt loop/slide has remnants of silver gilding on the front and the back. The front has been decorated with an incuse moulded 6-petalled flower at the centre with vines stretching out to form conical patterns on either side that look similar to a 'fiddlehead' fern frond.

The object has an oval body, which is inset with an oval jewel of either coloured glass or cornelain gemstone in one face and either blue glass or aquamarine in the other. An incomplete post Medieval belt mount with integral lugs possibly dating to c. 1600 – 1700 or later. The mount is symmetrical in form with a floral design. The surface is flat and decorated with an incised and gilded floral motif. The central motif is a six petalled flower. The reverse is flat with one integral pointed lug still attached. The lug is curved back. The mount is 32.8mm in length, 17.3mm in width, 6.5mm maximum thickness, and weighs 5.90g. Similar types of post Medieval mounts can be seen in Read 2001, pages 35-36.
