A fragment of a copper alloy bracelet dating to the roman period (c. AD 200-400). The object is rectangular in plan with a D-shaped cross-section. The convex outer surface is decorated along its length with incised lines on the diagonal. Both ends of the object terminate in worn breaks. The bracelet has a mid-green patina. Comparable examples recorded on the PAS database include: OXON-529566, OXON-7C1D2A and ESS-746845. See also Crummy (1983: 42) fig. 44, no. 1676. The overall dimensions are as follows: 41.5mm in length, 5.9mm in width, 2.2mm in thickness and 3.70g in weight.

A fragment of Roman cast copper-alloy bracelet dating to the first century AD. The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape, rectangular in cross-section and convexly bowed. The surface is decorated with a central panel of foliate decoration. This is flanked either side by three grooves. The long edges are slightly raised and rounded. At each end is an uneven worn transverse break. The patina is light green in colour. The fragment measures 20.5mm in length, 16.4mm in width, 1.2mm in thickness and weighs 1.87 grams. An incomplete copper-alloy probable Roman bracelet dating c. AD 250-410. The bracelet is broadly rectangular, D-shape in cross-section, and tapers gradually towards each terminal, of which there is one pointed fragment. There is little visible decoration on the very worn surfaces but there appear to be some moulded transverse ridges along some sections of the body and on one terminal. All surfaces have a mottled light to mid brown patination. The bracelet measures 33.1mm external diameter, is a maximum of 4.8mm wide and 1.7mm thick, and weighs 2.42 grams.
