The object is a double looped sub-rectangular frame with a lipped outer edge, contracted sides flanking the narrowed strap bar and three grooves in outer edge. The wire pin is retained, recurved and tapering around the strap bar. Length: 53.44mm, Width: 52.86mm, Thickness: 2.91mm, Weight: 20.0g The metal is brown in colour with a slightly pitted patina.

The upper surface is engraved with lines of zig-zags around the edges and radiating in six uneven lines from the centre. The underside is broadly flat and undecorated. All surfaces have a mottled light to mid green patina. The mount measures 26mm long, 22mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The rivet holes are 1mm in diameter. Th mount weighs 2.31 grams.
