A copper alloy buckle plate or fitting of medieval date, c. AD 1350-1550. The object is a slightly convex rectangular sheet (0.8mm thick). A 1.2mm wide border surrounds a panel decorated with a row of tall (19mm) black letter characters. The space between and around the characters is infilled with a hatching pattern. 1.2 mm diameter holes are neatly drilled and countersunk in each corner, two still contain rivets. The back of the plate is undecorated. The object is in good condition and shows little sign of wear.

An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval hooked tag, dating to AD 800-1200. It consists of a sub-lozenge- shaped plate with two protruding attachment circular loops on the upper edge. The lower edge of the plate has a tapering backward facing hook. The front face of the plate is decorated with a ring-and-dot motif at each corner; during the making of two of them the central dots have slightly perforated the plate. The back face is flat and uncdecorated.

Description: With a curved profile both across and in length, the object is undecorated on its inside surface but with incised line and dot decoration on its outer surface. The decoration commencing at the top (widest) edge consists of three incised lines across the object 5.3mm from the top edge. An almost complete Roman copper alloy architectural skeuomorphic plate brooch in the shape of a tetrastyle temple or basilica dating from the 2nd or early 3rd Century.

An incomplete later Early-Medieval zoomorphic bridle mount or cheek piece.
It has one surviving sub-circular terminal loop (internal measurement 10.78mm tall 14.65mm wide) with concave reverse and bevelled sides forming a D-section shank on which there is a decorated square boss before attaching to the main decorative plate. The shank and terminal loop measure 29.24mm long and 21.4mm wide at the loop. Half of a Roman multiple motif hook and eye bracelet dating to 250-410AD.
This is the hook half of the bracelet. The decoration consists of 5 inscribed lines across the width of the bracelet adjacent to the hook, then a line inscribed along the length of the bracelet with opposing angled lines inscribed from the central line to the edge. The central section of the bracelet is separated by 2 inscribed lines across the width of the bracelet and consists of a ring and dot decoration. The inner surface is smooth.

A complete cast copper alloy Strap Fitting of Post Medieval date (AD 1500 - 1750). The fitting is sub-circular. The Strap Fitting has a raised moulded design, centre of the fitting has a central pellet with surrounding 6 pellets. On the reverse there are 2 integral rectangular rivets, recurved for attaching the fitting to a strap. The colour is dark grey with dark brown patina.

A silver machine made thimble in Gothic Revival style, the hallmark indicating a date of AD 1896. The thimble has been compressed, but details of the decoration are still prominent and visible. The cap end is decorated with regularly spaced circular processes of dimples, being replaced at the shoulder by a field pattern of dimples to the waist. A cast copper alloy medieval bar mount or belt stiffener c. 1300 - 1500 AD. The mount consists of a single bar terminated at each end with a scallop shell form. The ends are then pierced and have in situ, copper alloy rivets. Now bent out of form the bar has a 'D' shaped cross section with the flatten side down. There are a few diagonal striations across the bar, but they may simply be from its time in the ground, rather than decorative. The surface has a light mid-green roughened patina. A complete copper alloy thimble dating to the Post Medieval to Modern period (c. AD 1750-1850). The thimble is domed with ten lines of regular punched circular pits on the crown. Below this is one thin concentric band followed by three thicker concentric bands with incised vertical lines. Around the base of the thimble is a hammered design of an 'A' followed by a pair of scissors, two tea cups and saucers, a flask, five flowers and a bowl. Immediately below this design is a lip at the base of the object. The thimble is machine made and has a dark greenish-brown patina.
