An incomplete early Medieval gilded, copper alloy saucer brooch dating to the 4th or 5th centuries AD.  Part of the brooch is missing. A small, complete Early Medieval silver hooked tag, c.AD 600-1000. It has a circular plate, two flat lugs near the top pierced for sewing, and a complete sharp hook at the bottom. The plate has an outer border, decorated to look like twisted rope, and an inner, undecorated border. Within these borders is a sunken panel containing an incised animal in profile left, possibly a lion. The decoration is at an unusual angle; the animal is the right way up when the object is held with the hook to the upper left and the sewing lugs to the lower right. The frame is 4.9mm thick, 5.9mm wide and is trapezoidal in cross section, with the front face having two facets and probably represents that of a serpent.
