A complete copper alloy Strap Fitting (Strap Slide), of Roman date (AD 43-200). The strap fitting is a pointed oval in plan with raised lenticular mouldings extending along both pointed terminals. The central panel comprises a central circular element divided into four sub-triangular recessed cells set within a circumferential recess. Two of the cells which are opposite one another retain red enamel. The back of the object is flat and undecorated and retains a complete, integral rectangular attachment loop.

An incomplete copper alloy Finger Ring of Roman date (AD 100-200). The object is composed of an ovate bezel and tapered shoulders, both of which terminate in transverse breaks resulting in the loss of the band. The inner surface is flat and undecorated. The bezel has a recessed ovate central portion with a curvilinear (triskele style) trefoil motif. No enamel is retained within the bezel.

Description: The ferrule is formed from sheet copper-alloy, rolled to form a narrow, tapering tube. The lower end of the tube has been broken leaving a ragged, open hole. Where the ends of the rolled sheet meet they overlap with a single, longitudinal seam. The upper end of the ferrule is intact and has been cut to form a decorated edge of pointed triangles. The object is an enamelled flat-ringed terret ring of Spratling's (1972) Group VIII, subgroup A. It is composed of a thin, rectangular-sectioned bar flanked by an oval expansion at either end. A Bronze Age to Early Medieval copper alloy bead.
The bead is a torus shape being circular in plan with a central perforation. In cross section the bead is oval with very worn sides both on its exterior and in the central hole. It has a medium brown patina. There appears to be a dotted pattern around the central whole on both sides.
The bead is 22.4mm in diameter, the central hole is 7.6mm in diameter and the bead is 8.2mm thick. It weighs 16.10 grams.

Complete Post Medieval - Modern cast copper alloy possible mount, c.AD 1700-1900.
This is a single cast piece of metal with stamped decoration. The head of this piece is trefoil in shape with two attachment holes, one in each side knop of the trefoil head. This leads to a rectangular plate and narrows further to a long tang. The tang is slightly concave in profile and ends in a rounded tip. The decoration on the mount is a geometric knot in style.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, c. AD 75-200.
This brooch has a cast headloop (incomplete) and wings with stepped vertical ridges on them. The reverse of the top of the bow is hollow. The headstud is integral and has an annular cell for enamel. The bow is decorated with a lattice pattern. The enamel does not survive. the pin mechanism and most of the catchplate is missing. The break is patinated.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy button and loop fastener, c. AD 50-200. This example conforms to the Wild Class III type.
Cast in one piece, the artefact consists of a drop shaped plate with flat reverse and central circular pellet set within a circumferential recess on the obverse. It has a pointed terminal and lenticular moulding. An integral square shaped shank extends at a 90 degree angle from the rounded terminal reverse and dog leg's at another 90 degree angle with a broken terminal. A complete copper alloy mace head dating to the medieval period (c. AD 1100-1400).
The artefact consists of a hollow rectangular cube with projecting pyramidal knops. The knops are arranged in three layers, with knops at each upper and lower corner, and one centrally on each face. Two circular holes are present on the top and bottom faces, and the interior is hollow with a circular concave internal face.
