A cast lead spindle whorl dating from the Medieval or early Post Medieval period, about AD 1450 - 1550. It is of Walton Rogers form C2, unevenly bi-convex with a broad median ridge and a central, sub-circular perforation of internal diameter 7.1mm. There is a small, rectangular depression in the interior wall of the perforation. Both sides are decorated with a pattern of radial raised lines creating panels, each of which contains two circular pellets. The whorl has a light grey patina. A fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy rectangular two piece buckle - frame and spindle, dating to c AD 1720- 1790. What remains is most of one long side of the frame with the slightly rounded corner and a short section of a short side. There are early breaks at both ends, the one on the short side being at the point where the separate spindle was held in the thickness of the frame. A complete Post Medieval cast copper-alloy discoidal livery type button dating to c.AD 1600-1800. The head is a hollow dome with a sub-rectangular shank perforated by a single circular hole projecting from the centre of the reverse. A complete white metal coated cast copper-alloy Post Medieval button of the 18th century. The button comprises a domed circular head with white metal coated decoration of cross-hatchings. The reverse is hollow and uncoated with a circular-sectioned loop projecting from the centre. Attached to the loop are strands of brown fabric. Light and mid green patination. The button measures 24.1mm diameter, 9.4mm in height (the head 1.1mm thick) and weighs 4.1 grams.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Roman - Medieval, facet headed pin, AD.150-1200. The object comprises the head and part of the shank of the pin. The head is faceted with 13 decorated facets each with a single ring and dot. The 14th facet is where the pin shank emerges, below this is a narrow faceted collar. The shank has broken probably halfway down its length. This form of pin is common from the Roman period to the medieval, though perhaps most common during the Roman and Early Medieval periods.
