A complete copper alloy Finger Ring of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1800). The object is composed of a circular D sectioned band with a flat inner surface and convex outer. The outer surface is extensively decorated with upper and lower everted lip with a recessed band flanking both upper and lower which is beaded. The central portion is convex with a circumferential decorative motif, partially obscured by abrasion, the visible portion consists of a six-pointed star in relief and repeating transverse grooves with unclear elements between each.

A complete silver or pewter finger ring with distinctive bezel, date uncertain.
The ring has a round hoop and a pointed oval/lozenge shaped bezel. The hoop is of D-shaped cross-section, 4.6mm wide, and is slightly irregular, appearing handmade. The width of the hoop increases to follow the shape of the bezel. The surface is smooth and worn, slightly pitted and of a dull silver appearance. There are no hallmarks. The artefact is cast in one piece.
The shoulders of the hoop and the outside of the bezel are decorated with incised transverse grooves.…

Small copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring, most likely of post medieval date c.1700-1850AD.
The ring is formed with a rectangular strip of metal. The bezel is formed from a separate piece of metal in the form of a belt and has been riveted or soldered onto the main hoop. The bezel comprises a line of three square panels, each with a single pellet in each corner. These square panels are flanked by a triangular panel with a pellet in each angle.
The object is worn and pitted with only slight traces of the original surface.

An incomplete copper alloy Finger Ring of Roman date (AD 100-200). The object is composed of an ovate bezel and tapered shoulders, both of which terminate in transverse breaks resulting in the loss of the band. The inner surface is flat and undecorated. The bezel has a recessed ovate central portion with a curvilinear (triskele style) trefoil motif. No enamel is retained within the bezel.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman hook and eye type bracelet repurposed to become a finger ring dating to the period c. AD 250-450.

A complete Roman copper alloy polygonal finger ring, dating to c. AD 200-410. Henig type IX; Guiraud type 9a. The ring has eight external facets and is decorated with an incised ring around its circumference. On either side of this incised ring are diagonal incisions around the ring.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring, dating to c. AD 43-100. Guiraud Type 1. The finger ring is decorated around the oval, upstanding bezel with a geometric design of engraved triangles of two types - plain or stippled. The bezel retains the remains of a dark brownish red stone or glass setting. The patina of the finger ring is light grey green.

A complete post-medieval copper-alloy finger ring. The hoop of the ring is D-shaped in cross-section and this widens and thickens at the shoulders before forming into a flat bezel which is sub-oval in plan and offset and overhanging the hoop. The bevel is decorated with a set of crudely incised lines. Four non-parallel lines from the front to the rear of the bezel with the outer lines being longer than the middle two and one line at 45 degrees to the others at the overhanging end.

Copper alloy ring with a diameter of 20.7mm of possible medieval or early post-medeival date (c.1200-1600AD). The bezel is flat and measures 7.1mm wide. The shoulders taper from the bezel into the hoop which is 4.0mm wide at the rear. There are three broadly parallel grooves running across the bezel and down onto the shoulders on either side. Across this, on the bezel, is a zigzag, or what could be, a crudely executed W or M motif.

Coper alloy Roman finger ring fragment dating to the period c. AD 45 - 300.
The ring has a large circular bezel. The hoop is missing. The bezel is decorated with recessed cells formed from arcs which create a cruciform or star effect with a circular hub. The inner cell created by the arcs contains red enamel, the hub and the outer cells are filled with a pale material, probably degraded enamel, possibly blue although the original colour is difficult to determine. The shoulders are undecorated and taper to form the hoop, which is now missing, the shoulders terminating after 9 mm. …
