A fragment of a copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 -1500. All that remains is a decorated portion of the buckle frame. A fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy rectangular two piece buckle - frame and spindle, dating to c AD 1720- 1790. What remains is most of one long side of the frame with the slightly rounded corner and a short section of a short side. There are early breaks at both ends, the one on the short side being at the point where the separate spindle was held in the thickness of the frame. Dark grey-green patina (80%), with some mid red-brown patches of corrosion (20%). Fragment of a copper alloy object, most likely at medieval D shaped buckle frame dating c1450-1550AD.  The fragment is sub-triangular in section and curved in plan.  On the outer edge of the loop there is an engraved or incised zig-zag line.  On the inside edge of the loop a series of vertical parallel groves. There is a small worn indentation on the inside edge which could have been caused by the tip of the pin.  The fragment has a powdery green patina. Measurements: Length 32.4mm; width 8.0mm; thickness 5.2mm; weight 7g.

A post medieval copper alloy trapezoidal double loop buckle circa AD 1600-1700. The buckle has a pointed triangular pin and triangular plate. Both the plate and pin are not free to move as they are corroded on to the frame. The slightly curved ends are each decorated on the top surface with eleven notches.  The frame has triangular notches where the bar meets it.The buckle has a green patina.
