A complete silver Finger Ring of Post-Medieval or Modern date (AD 1600-1900). The object is composed of a D shaped sectioned band. The inner face of the ring is plain and undecorated. The outer face of the ring is decorated with an incised roman lettering which reads: H.C. There is an incised linear decorative pattern flaking the initials. The pattern is symmetrical and is composed of an upper and lower curvilinear line within which are two further lines. A pelta headed trumpet derivative brooch, refer to sketch on hard copy. Near right angle profile, pronounced axis bar along proximal end with compressed suspension loop, pelta head centre bar face, tapering down gradually to mid bow bulge, not decorated in acanthus style, truncated distil end. Partial catchplate, pin extinct. Very denuded surface.
