Silver unit of the Dobunni tribe, provisionally dated to the late Iron Age 20 BC - 50 AD. The unit is similar to Allens classes I and J.
Philip de-Jersey, of the Celtic coin index has suggested: The coin (CCI 06.0574) is indeed a Dobunnic type along the lines of Van Arsdell 1135 or 1137 (Hobbs 3003-3005).
