Silver Anglo-Saxon 'porcupine' sceat of Series E Variety G4 (BMC type 4, North 45). The reverse, although incomplete, is most reminiscent of Variety G but is only partially visible. The obverse lacks the pellets of G1 and G2 near the acute angle, and most probably belongs to Variety G4.

A silver Primary phase sceat, most likely a crude copy of Series A or C (680-710) as it bears a number of unusual characteristics. The obverse bust is extremely degraded, and the reverse standard contains a central pellet as opposed to the general annulet (although a Series A example, EMC1977.0060 exhibits the same). A small portion of the coin is missing. It measures 11.2mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick and weighs 1.09g.

Silver plate on base metal core (imitation?), sceat, Series J (type 85), c. 710-25, Metcalf 1994, p.345-350; Abramson 2005,J120. The coin lacks the two sets of three pellets normally seen either side of the cross on the reverse, and Metcalf (1994, 348) has suggested that these may be Continental in origin.
