An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date (c. 720-c. 850). The pin head is sub-spherical in form with fourteen spiralling grooves on the side. At the apex there are two grooves forming a cross. Immediately below the head is a small collar dividing the head from the shaft. The shaft is circular in cross-section and beneath the collar it has a diameter of 1.6mm. It tapers towards the break where the diameter is 1.0mm. A copper-alloy pin of probable middle Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date. The head of the pin is polyhedral, taking the form of a cuboid with truncated corners. On all but the horizontal upper surface is a single punched ring-and-dot mark. At its base the head tapers into the shaft, which is of circular section, bent and probably incomplete. The artefact measures 16.4mm long, 6mm wide and weighs 1.9g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date (c. 720-c. 850). The pin has a globular head with a diameter of 6.1mm and a depth of 5.7mm. Immediately below the head there is a narrow collar. The shaft is circular in cross-section (diameter: 1.6mm). The pin has a pitted mid-green patina and small areas of copper alloy corrosion. The break on the shaft is old. There is no indication of decoration or surface treatment. Length: 25.8mm; diameter: 6.1mm; weight: 1.54g. It is possible that this pin can be dated to the Middle Saxon period.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval pin. It is Middle Saxon in date (AD720-850). Length 27mm, width of head 10mm, diameter of shaft 2.1mm, weight 3.51g. The head is biconical and is decorated with punched holes. There is a slight trace of a collar where the head meets the shaft. The shaft is circular but most of it is missing. The object is covered with mid green corrosion.

A copper-alloy pin of middle Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date. The head is polyhedral, with two opposing hexagonal faces, each decorated with four punched ring-and-dot marks. The two vertical side faces bear two such marks and the four angled faces bordering the plain upper face each have a single mark. A collar separates the head from the shaft, the latter element being of circular section, tapering to a damaged point. The point has been bent upwards, probably deliberately. The artefact measures 29.7mm long, 16.9mm wide and 6.3mm thick. The weight is 4g.

Early Medieval (Middle Saxon AD750-820) cast copper alloy pin. The head is polyhedral i.e. cuboid with the coins cut off, thereby creating thirteen visible faces. The head is decorated; each of the smaller faces having one ring-and-dot motif. The two larger faces each have four ring-and-dot motifs. The head is separated from the stem by a moulded collar, a characteristic feature on Middle Saxon pins. The incomplete shaft is circular in section. The pin has a length of 33mm, the head has a width of 9.5mm, the stem a diameter of 2mm. The weight is 2.45g.

The artefact measures 18.4mm long, 6.8mm wide and 3.8mm thick. The weight is 1.35g.
