Disc shaped lead object with a crudely cast rib across one face, other face plain. At one side are traces of what might be a casting gate. Function unknown.
MF notes the mass might qualify this as a weight representing one ora/ore, or six [underweight] sub-units of 4.07gms, as used for silver bullion transactions in the Viking Age.

Cast copper alloy disc brooch bearing three, inward facing, animals' heads each with broad face, narrowed muzzle, and large, rounded ears. The brooch has a convex front face, back concave and bearing, in addition to the pit location and catch plate, the remains of small ring. This brooch is decorated in the Viking Borre style and belongs to Jansson's Type II A, the most popular type at Birka (Jansson 1984b). Diameter 25.7mm, Height 6.2mm, Mass 9.82g.

Hacksilver in form of half a ring, made from faceted wire, one end tapering and twisted where the ring where the two ends were joined. The other end has been severed with a single chisel blow. The surface bear multiple peckmarks/notches where the quality of the metal has been tested with a knife. With a mass of 6.40g this fragment represents, within 2%, a quarter of the 'standard' Viking bullion module of 26.15g. Ring diameter 28.3mm, Wire diameter 4.0mm, Mass 6.40g.
