An incomplete gilded silver and garnet cloisonné mount dating of early medieval date (c. 500–550 CE). Description: The object is circular in plan with a thickly-beaded collar, from which raises a central setting divided into four cells. Two opposing cells are pointed oval in shape, created by crescent-shaped strips of silver. These are joined by a single strip of silver to create the other two opposing cells. A near complete cast copper alloy S-shaped brooch of Early-Medieval date, dating to the fifth or sixth century (probably c. 450-550 AD). Description: The brooch is of plate type and is narrowed S-shape in plan. Each terminal is bifurcated slightly possibly in imitation of a bird beak, a common motif of such brooches. It has further decoration in the form of two transverse incised lines diagonally top to bottom, each side of which are a line of ring and and annulets top to bottom also. A early-medieval Merovingian gold tremissis, 'National'/'mint-and-moneyer' series dating c.AD 580-670; mint: possibly Beauvais (ancient Bellovacum); moneyer: Aigoaldus. The inscriptions on both obverse and reverse are truncated, struck partially off the flan. The coin appears to be unlisted in de Belfort (1892-5) and Prou (1892). Obverse: '+[BE?, possibly BA?]LLOACV[S?..]'; Diademed and bust in right. Reverse: +AIGO[A?]LDVS. Long cross on globe on steps, a pellet in each lower quarter. Measurements: 11.8mm in diameter, 1.2g in weight.

A composite early-medieval gold, garnet and green glass cloisonné mount, possibly from a buckle. Description: The mount is sub-triangular in form. It comprises a gold frame, constructed from a sheet gold back-plate to which have been soldered gold strips, set edge-on, to create four cells: three hemispherical cells arranged around a central triangular cell. The hemispherical cells are inlaid with red stones, probably garnets, and the triangular cell is inlaid with green glass. An Early Medieval copper-alloy scabbard-slide of 6th-century date. The slide appears to have been cast in one piece, with moulded decoration on one face. The slide is linear in plan with rounded terminals and a constriction in the centre. Cast copper-alloy radiate-headed brooch, comprising part of the headplate and bow. The radiate head originally had five half-round knobs projecting from its upper edge; two of these are missing and the central one is incomplete.
