A complete cast copper alloy early medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end (cf. Thomas Class A2h). The plate is narrow and oval, waisted to a flared rear end which is characteristically split but incomplete having broken across the rivet holes on the edge. The front of the plate is decorated with cross hatching or lattice decoration within a linear border. The terminal is zoomorphic, although now too worn for much detail to be visible.

An incomplete copper-alloy Strap End of Early-Medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) date (AD 1000-1100). Thomas Class E, Type 1 (Winchester Style). The object consists of an openwork, lozenge-shaped plate, with a rectangular upper attachment plate with a single central circular perforation. The plate is composed of Winchester style openwork decoration in the form of a series of symmetrical fronds, emanating from a central stem which twist along the edges of the plate and end in inward curving lobed terminals. The lower rounded end is missing due to an old, abraded, transverse break.

A near complete copper alloy strap end of Early Medieval date (c. AD 900-1100), Thomas Class E, Type 1b (Winchester Style).
The artefact comprises a tongue shaped plate with a near complete rectangular attachment plate immediately above. An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) copper-alloy strap end of Thomas' Class A, Type 2. The plate is narrow and oval, expanding from the rear edge to a maximum width of 9mm before narrowing into a pointed zoomorphic terminal. The rear edge is split and incomplete having lost the facing side and the rear end, which has broken across a pair of rivet holes. The terminal has a well defined beast head, with concave sides to the snout and a well defined brow and long rounded ears behind.

A cast copper-alloy early medieval strap end, Thomas Class A, Type 1 Trewhiddle style dating to c.AD 800-900.
The strap end is broadly rectangular in form with a split end, which tapers towards the closed end with a very worn zoomorphic terminal. The zoomorphic terminal comprises an abstract face of inward curled ears and a now smoothed out pointed face; with faint traces of raised curved, angular moulded recess for eyes and a wedge-shaped snout. A tiny cast oval plate with bowed sides and a split inner end, with crudely incised sub-triangular panels outlined on its inner end, and with an iron rivet passing through its middle, where it is sharply bent.
