A post-medieval lead cloth seal. The object consists of two lead discs joined by a sprue were bent around a piece of cloth and stamped to seal. Traces of the stamped design remain as a letter 'P' within a circle on one disc and 'M' within a circle on the other. There also appears to be a pictorial design on the latter disc, possibly a portcullis, though this is very worn. The seal has a uniform grey patina, and is in fair condition, despite the surface wear.
