A fragment of a ceramic vessel of uncertain date. The fragment is a body sherd with hard and coarse fabric of a dark brownish-orange colour. Numerous small quartz inclusions are present within the fabric. The fragment is 52.5mm long, 23.8mm wide, 10mm thick and weighs 15.5g. Generic fabric types such as this with no specific diagnostic features can be difficult to date precisely and range from Iron Age to medieval in date. However, it seems probable that this sherd is from a hand made vessel which suggests an earlier date.

A complete cast copper alloy strap slide of post-medieval date. The slide is sub-rectangular with reniform terminals with two integrally cast attachment spikes projecting from the reverse. The slide is undecorated. The metal has a mid reddish-green patina and is worn. The strap slide is 27.9mm long, 11.4mm wide, 11.8mm thick (with spikes) and weighs 4.1g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy cruciform brooch of early-Medieval date (AD 400-720). This fragment consists of a head plate and two wings. The reverse is undecorated with one worn lug where a hinged pin would have been affixed. The central plate is square in plan, the edges are marked by incised lines but is otherwise undecorated. The two wings are curved at their outer edges and grooved at their collars which are cast integrally to the headplate. A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both sides of the spindle whorl are decorated with irregularly spaced and angled radiating raised lines creating sub-trapezoidal cells within each of which are raised pellets. The metal is a mid whitish-grey colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 36.4mm in diameter, 10.7mm thick and weighs 46g. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of early-medieval date. The strap end is of Thomas' Class E, Type 3. The strap end is rectangular in plan with a double incised border. The front face is decorated with a raised median rib with an internal groove. To either side of the rib is punched ring and dot decoration. The strap end is cast in one piece but the attachment end is split into an upper and lower plate to allow the strap material to be fitted in between. A cast lead token of medieval to post-medieval date. The token is flat and circular bearing stamped decoration on both faces. On one side all that can be determined is raised beaded border with all other features being rendered illegible due to wear. The other side is decorated with a raised design of cross radiating from a central pellet. The metal is a dark greyish-white colour and is very worn. An incomplete copper alloy fob seal matrix of late post-medieval to modern date. The fob seal is rectangular in plan with a clear glass intaglio inset into the centre. The reverse is domed and decorated with linear incised lines radiating form the centre where the remains of a broken and worn attachment shank project. It is not possible to determine how the intaglio is secured in to the frame though it is likely a resin or glue was used. An incomplete cast copper alloy horse harness pendant hanger of medieval date. The pendant is in the shape of a cross with D-shape sectioned arms. Three of the arms terminate in broken and worn circular loops while the fourth, which is slightly shorter, ends in a double lug for suspension. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark blackish-green patina and is worn. The pendant is 27.7mm long, 25mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 4.1g. Similar examples can be seen on the database as LIN-8BB474 and YORYM-C56BB2.

A complete cast copper alloy terret of strap-mounted form of probable Roman date. The terret ring is comprised of a large oval loop with a rectangular section and a smaller rectangular strap loop. The large loop is decorated with three grooves running around its circumference. The terret ring is of an unusual form for which a direct parallel has not been found. The strap loop is similar to those seen on some pelta shaped terrets such as HESH-73B625. SF-5565A1 and KENT-539470 also have similar strap loops.
