A cast lead spindle whorl or possibly weight. It has a slightly domed top and flat base with a tapering circular hole running through it, slightly off centre. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval.

An incomplete unidentified cast copper alloy object, of unknown date. It is flat and fairly even, with a longer stem that terminates in a curved 'T' shape. The bottom of the T is curved, and the sides terminate at a point, and are cocave as the edge goes back to the stem. It has been slightly bent. The condition is fair as it is broken and has some dark patina covering most of the surface, but the original metal can be seen through the patina. This item is 53.16 mm long, 22 mm wide (max), 2.12 mm thick and weighs 7.55 g.

Cast copper alloy unidentified object, very possibly a Roman patera or pan handle, but generally undatable. The object seems almost complete with a rip or break towards the left, opposite the fish-tailed terminal. The underside or reverse is plain and rough to the touch while the obverse is smooth and decorated with a crescent-shaped punch mark. There are also two perforation (possibly rivet holes) of unknown function.

A pair of copper alloy tweezers. They are constructed from a thick strip of copper alloy sheet, folded in the centre to create a rounded suspension loop, and have a pair of blades tapering outwards to slightly flared ends. The ends are curved inwards at a 45 degree angle like pincers. There is no decoration. Tweezers of this design are difficult to date precisely and were in use from Roman to Medieval times. A complete cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan with a flat top and base, rounded, slightly sloping sides and a central perforation. The whorl is undecorated. The metal is a mid whitish-grey colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 28.4mm in diameter, 7.6mm thick and weighs 37.7g. Lead spindle whorls were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty. An incomplete cast copper alloy furniture fitting of uncertain date - posssibly from the Roman period. This fitting consists of a hollow copper alloy mount with large central projecting boss / knob. The sides of the boss have an iron filled transverse hole / piercing (diameter: 4.5mm) which may once have held a small handle / swivel. The underside of the mount is concave and filled with the corroded remains of an iron shank. The artefact is heavily abraded around its rim and has a well developed green patina. An incomplete and undatable faceted cone-shaped lead weight with an incomplete triangular projection (2.41mm thick, 6.99mm wide) straddling the width at the wider flat end (9.75x7.44mm), while the opposite end bends to one side (2.52x2.14mm).
