An incomplete cast lead-alloy stylus ,circa 1300-1750 AD. The usual pointed end of the stylus is missing ,lost in antiquity.Approximately two thirds of its length is circular in cross section. The opposite end ,which is flared in a fish-tail shape is intact and could have been used to level or inscribe a wax surface. The object measures 34.8mm in length,has a width of 12.7mm ,a thickness of 6.9mm, and weighs 8.8g. For a similar example see database, SWYOR-72F353.

The hollow artefact has a sub-spherical to sub-cuboid shape with six sub-circular to irregular shaped perforations through to the hollow centre. The object measures 16.8mm in diameter and weighs 8.7g. The roughly made perforations have an average diameter of 6.6mm. It is in good condition.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris. It is rectangular in form, D-shaped in section and terminates at both ends in old breaks. The surfaces demonstrate signs of post-depositional wear and corrosion, and are crudely/unevenly finished. It measures 24.94mm in length, 8.79mm in width, 5.04mm in thickness and 5.72g in weight. Although this fragment has a relatively uniform shape it does not appear to have been finished as a complete object. A complete glass bead of uncertain date. The bead is circular in plan with a central circular perforation. The glass is a dark blue colour and survives in good condition. The bead is 22.9mm in diameter, 11.8mm thick and weighs 7.2g. Glass beads are very difficult to date with any certainty therefore due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely and it could be Roman through to post-medieval in date.

Fragment of unidentified object made from iron with a white-metal coating (perhaps tin) on the decorated face. The surviving piece is flat and roughly rectangular, measuring 18.4mm long and 11.0mm wide; there are no identifiable original edges. It is decorated with a pair of circular domed bosses with square or lozenge-shaped flat tops. The white metal has worn away here and there is some lumpy iron corrosion.
