A copper alloy Post-Medieval jetton, Lion of St Mark type, struck at Nuremberg by Hans Shultes I (1553-1584) between 1553 and1559. There is a crack in the flan at 2 o'clock on the obverse. The jetton is 26.6mm in diameter and 0.7mm thick. It weighs 1.95gm. Reference: Mitchiner, 1988, Jettons, Medalets and Tokens, volume 1, number 1327.

A copper-alloy Rose and Orb jetton of Nuremberg Master Hans Schultes I, c.1553-1584 AD. One third of the jetton is missing due to old breaks. As Mitchiner, 1988: no. 1345. Obverse: []ANS:SCHVLTES:[], Three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose, all within an inner circle. Reverse: []OBIMOBIMOBIM[], An Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double stranded trefoil, all within an inner circle, pellets in each external angle of the foil.
