A silver Anglo-Saxon penny of Cuthred, King of Kent AD 798-807. Canterbury mint, struck by the moneyer Eaba. North 211. The coin has a small nick in the edge but is otherwise in very good condition. This is the first coin struck by Eaba recorded on this database, and only the fifth of Cuthred.
