A cast copper alloy pin dating from the Medieval period. It has a circular head created by winding five turns of copper wire around the upper end of the shaft, giving the head a grooved appearance. The shaft is narrow and of the same diameter for much of its length, tapering only to a point at the end. As is often the case with these pins, it is bent in the middle of the shaft. The total length of the shaft is 72.6mm; the head is 6.8mm in diameter. The pin weighs 2.87gm. Pins of similar construction are illustrated in Egan & Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories c1150-c1450, page 301.

A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both sides of the spindle whorl are decorated with irregularly spaced and angled radiating raised lines creating sub-trapezoidal cells within each of which are raised pellets. A pair of copper alloy tweezers. They are constructed from a thick strip of copper alloy sheet, folded in the centre to create a rounded suspension loop, and have a pair of blades tapering outwards to slightly flared ends. The ends are curved inwards at a 45 degree angle like pincers. There is no decoration. Tweezers of this design are difficult to date precisely and were in use from Roman to Medieval times. A complete cast copper-alloy flanged axehead of early Bronze Age date. It has a thin, rounded butt, with almost straight sides before expanding to a flared blade. A cast, copper alloy Roman nail cleaner dating from AD43-200, Crummy type 2a. The blade is of a pointed leaf shape, tapering gently from rounded shoulders to two points. The division between the points continues up one side of the blade as a central groove; the other side is unmarked. There is a circular suspension loop, set at right angles to the blade and separated from it by a baluster moulding. The nail cleaner has a smooth, dark brown patina. A cast copper alloy thumb screw, possibly from a watch winder, nutcracker or even a musical instrument. The screw has a sub-circular dished head with small knop at the apex, a skirted collar beneath which separates the turning head from the shaft; only a fragment of the screw thread survives. Similar objects are recorded as the screw heads for open-box nutcrackers; although no watch-winder exactly like this example has been found, it is possibly this may have also been the objects original purpose. 17th to 18th century AD.

A Medieval to post-Medieval vessel foot from a copper alloy cooking vessel (c. 1250-c. 1650 AD). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section throughout its length. It is undecorated but the front retains a raised central vertical rib. The base of the foot is now worn, broken and rounded, but would have resembled an animals' paw. The inner edge is worn and rounded. The ring was found in a field that has produced many Roman finds, so a Roman date is tentatively suggested. This example has a rectangular suspension loop and two sounding holes on the upper half of the bell. The lower half of the bell contains the sounding split, and internally the iron pea is retained. Incomplete post Medieval cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. The fitting consists of an irregular-shaped plate decorated with an incised curvilinear floriate design. The plate had two circular rivets at the top and bottom, one of the holes for these rivets survives intact but the other is incomplete as it is the point of a break. The fitting is broken at both the top and bottom. Compare with DENO-11C9C1 a complete example of this type of fitting. Fittings of this type are typically dated c.1550-1650.
