A uniface lead-alloy token of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The upper surface is divided in two by a relief-moulded vertical line of two strands; in addition, the right-hand side is further subdivided by a horizontal line of similar form. A letter 'N' is located within the bottom right quadrant, with a second such letter situated central to the left hand side of the token. Both letters are of Roman form and are reverse-barred. A low rim extends around the circumference of the token. Dimensions: 19.9mm diameter, 1.3mm thick. Weight: 2.95g.

A Post Medieval cast lead-alloy uni-face circular token, c. 1500-1850 AD. The token has raised initials IL on one side. The reverse is plain. The token measures 20.16 mm in diameter,1.76 mm thick, and weighs 3.75 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely. Those with initials and this type of decoration are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1500-1850 AD.

Those with initials and this type of decoration are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1500-1850 AD.
