A very worn, damaged and incomplete mid-14th century silver medieval halfpenny probably of Edward III's Third 'florin' coinage, London mint (c. 1344 - c. 1351 AD; possibly North 1132).
This coin has lost over a third of its flan due to old damage. What survives has been bent resulting in some fracturing at the edges.

OBVERSE: Crown has a central element composed of three pellets attatched to the main band by lines, and at each end is a half-fleur. The Eyes are round with a central circular pellet within them, and the hair consists of two curls on either side of the face, each with a central pellet. The portrait includes a hand with sceptre dividing the obverse legend of HENRICVS REX/III
REVERSE: A voided long-cross divides the central field into 4 segments, each segment contains three pellets. The legend reads RIC/ARD/ON L/VND
