A post medieval silver half penny of Charles 1st. A rose is depicted on both the obverse and reverse. No legend. Two small holes have been punctured very probably for the coin to be used as a necklace. As a general rule, pierced coins post dating AD 1180 are not considered to be classified as potential Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996, as they remained in circulation post piercing.

A complete silver groat of Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547), struck in London between AD 1532-1542. The coin appears to have an arrow on the reverse, but the obverse initial mark is hard to discern; this may be a mule as there are crosses / roses in the arms of the cross on the reverse, and mules were not uncommon for this period of issue. North 1797.
