A silver Roman Denarius struck for Julia Maesa at the mint of Rome in the period AD 218-22 (Reece Period 10). SAECVLI FELICITAS, Felicitas standing left, holding long caduceus and sacrificing over lighted altar. The star in the field is not obvious but may well be on the left of the figure. Obverse is draped bust right. Reverse is As RIC IV, part 2, p. 50, no. 272. The coin gives the impression of plating or of being of noticably poor quality silver. Diameter 18.62mm, 1.95g.
