An incomplete silver Roman radiate of Herennius Etruscus (AD 250-251), dating to the period c.AD 250-251 (Reece period 12). PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS reverse type depicting Herennius standing left holding baton and spear. Mint of Rome. Cunetio no. 335; RIC IV.3, no. 147c. This coin has suffered some circumferential losses, there is a small patch of copper corrosion product on edge of the coin just below the bust.

A base silver Roman coin: a radiate of Gordian III (AD238-244) probably Pax on the reverse, holding olive branch and transverse sceptre. It has a patina that suggests a high copper content and it may be as little as 42% silver. A large chip is missing from the flan between 3 o'clock and 8 o'clock on the obverse. It is 20.1mm in diameter and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.44gm.Compare Sear Volume II number 8627, but with "C" obverse legend.
