A gilded silver composite hooked tag; the back plate is trifoliate in plan with notches around the edge. The reverse of the plate has damage where the loop was originally attached and is now missing. There is also on the lower lobe a discolouration where the separate hook was originally positioned and has recently fallen off. The hook, however, is not missing. It is a sub-U shape in profile, has a circular section, with one terminal tapering to a sharp point, the other flattened and originally soldered to the back plate.
