A silver brooch of probable modern date. Approximately 305 of the brooch has been broken away by an old break. It is broadly circular in plan with five lugs emerging from the edge. There is molded decoration on the front surface of the brooch in the form of a central knot surrounded by a ring of smaller knots. A broken hinge can be seen on the undecorated reverse. The decorative style and form of the hinge suggest a modern date, probably c.1800-1900.
