An incomplete post-Medieval cast silver double-looped buckle (1500-1650 AD). Treasure case no. 2012 T1. One loop and the pin are missing. The surviving loop is D-shaped, flat at the front and rear and the narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section. A small knop projects at each end of the bar. The front of the outer edge is bevelled on the outer and inner sides and the breaks are old. TREASURE CASE 2012 T3 Post Medieval Button Description: Post Medieval silver button casing. It is hemispherical in shape, with a soldered silver wire loop at the apex. There is a raised band around the rim and the outer surface is decorated in alternate bands of plain raised lines and recessed lines which are filled with narrow, oblique lines.
